Redout is a rare representative of the once popular genre "a crazy arcade race on futuristic bolides." Those who screwed up circles in Wipeout, clinging to extreme speeds and a reactive electronic soundtrack, immediately feel here at home. The main advantage of Redout - absolutely inexpressible dynamics. Racing hovercraft rushes along diabolically twisted trails, lay dead loops, miraculously fit into sharp turns, and do all this at great speeds.
